MetraTech sparks Onstream’s next innovative business model

A National Grid company, OnStream, has announced the billing platform and software market leader, MetraTech, as the billing solution for their business transformation program.
OnStream provide gas and electricity meters to energy suppliers across Great Britain, including Opus Energy. They will deploy MetraTech’s customer case and billing platform, to support traditional meters and the roll out of their new smart meter business model in the UK.
Head of Transformation at OnStream, Declan McLaughlin said;
“MetraTech’s ability to let us adapt our business model in the new world of smart meters and to enable our sales team to implement contracts tailored to our customers needs will help us to create both an efficient and more responsive organization.”
